Roof Runoff Project

Rough Draft: This page
is under construction, and needs editing.
We have been piloting the Roof Runoff Project, and these are pictures of our
efforts.

We collected water and tested the pH with sensors using a laptop and Logger Pro.

The laptop allowed us to get the data immediately, and we could get samples from
various locations.

We collected many samples. The center picture shows the collection of free
fall rain.

We collected water from the walls and we took notes on the conditions of the
walls and roofs.

Our gy has a bid down spout, and we we able to collect much water.

From the field we took pH reading in our lab with desk top computers also.

We collect more free fall rain later in the day. We also check the changes
that occurred in the pond water in our school yard pond.

We tested the pond water with the laptop and sensors immediately after
collection.

We collected water from our walls. We were interested in how we would best
accomplish this task.

Both the wall and roof will provided us with the much needed data.
