Generating a List

Open the Excel Practice Workbook.  Normally, you wouldn't open a file from the Internet without scanning it for viruses but we know the source. Save the worksheet as a Excel Microsoft Workbook.  You can go back and forth between this window and the Excel workbook.

In this lesson we will:
Practice the basics used in creating a Bingo Board
Change text orientation
Sort a list
Auto format the rows/columns
Copy/paste data
Format page setup

Page Setup - Scaling and Printing Gridlines
  1. Click on the <Print Preview Button (magnifying glass)>.  Notice that there will be more than one page printed. There is one too many columns to fit on a page.   I want only one page.  There are two options.  Print landscape or scale it to fit on 1 page.  Choose the scaling option by going to <Setup> <Page>
  2. Click on <Sheet> tab.  Check print <gridlines>
Brainstorm, there must be several times that you need to create short lists during the school year.
